Math & Physics Toys Lab
Here are eight math and physics mini-lessons that I recorded. They feature a variety of fun and educational toys and puzzles, including the Luban lock, Sudoku, and polygon puzzles. I also found some DIY toys online that incorporate interesting physics concepts, such as a floating ball, a Newton’s cradle, and a remote-controlled car. Some of the toys are simply my younger siblings’ favorites, such as the diabolo and spinning tops.

Buy24 is a toy and general goods store that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
I have continued to volunteer there and regularly donate secondhand toys from my home.
During my “Shop Manager for a Day” experience at the charity store,
I saw how even small contributions can add up to make a meaningful difference.

Aug.15th, 2026
Today, I visited one of Shanghai’s most famous charity stores --- Buy 42, and became one of its volunteers. Although I have volunteered in a lot of other public places, this is my first time to volunteer at a store. At my first glance, I understood that buy 42 means buy for you and for someone special.
At Buy 42, I helped collect and categorize merchandise, communicate with foreign customers, and sell the products to different customers. Understanding that each product is donated by businesses and person or made by people with disabilities, I realized the weight and value of teh store.
During my one-day volunteering work, I found that the most interesting thing was serving the customers. When handling a cup of rock tea from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian, and introducing the history and geographic background of this special Chinese traditional tea visitors, I felt proud of myself demonstrating products. It also made me gain a more profound insight in Chinese tea culture. Despite the fact that I didn’t sell out a lot of tea leaves, I obtained the sense of achievement through expressing confidently.
Additionally, I also led the younger volunteers to play a unique environmentally friendly and commonweal board game from Buy 42 in the afternoon. Even though forty minutes are long, that 40-minute-long playing time seemed really fast to me. I realized that the time which you pay effort and immerse in the activity was rapid but meaningful.
Finally, walking out of the charity store, I saw the slogan again: You could change the world by stepping in. Today’s experience dramatically changed my point of view of doing commonweal stuffs. It isn’t just about money, it could be related to love, communication, and friendship.

An unforgettable trip with my schoolmates toward the Six Emerging Tech Dragons and Alibaba took place during my first year of secondary school.
The moment which fascinates me the most was the one visiting the headquarter of six high-tech companies. The zero-distance observation among high technological products such as Unitree robots and Brain-Computer Interface technology from BrainCo really taught me a unique lesson of how technologies are shifting and reshaping our lives into a more comfortable and efficient way.
But this is not all this trip has taught me. When visiting the headquarter of Alibaba, I learned that there are other factors which lead to a success company. “If not now, when? If not me, who?” is a slogan which I have remembered clearly until now. The motivation of work keeps all the staffs work harder and facilitates the company which originated with 18 people to a total business empire among the whole world.
Although the trip ends, the knowledge not only technology, but also the completely distinctive thinking logic has remained. This short journey’s true value isn’t just open our horizons to a broader world, but it makes us to generate a small idea of innovation from our inner heart.
